Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of Work
The painting services provided by The Painting Crew will include all tasks outlined in the agreed-upon quote or contract, such as surface preparation, priming, and application of paint. Any additional work beyond the specified scope will require mutual agreement and may incur extra costs.

2. Payment Terms

  • A deposit of 50% is required to book a date prior to the start of the project.

  • This is a COD account, the remaining balance is due upon completion of the work, payable within 24 hrs of invoice issuance.

  • Late payments may incur a fee of 5% per week on the outstanding balance.

3. Materials and Standards
We use only high-quality materials and adhere to industry-standard application techniques to ensure a durable and professional finish. Colors and products will be applied as per the client’s specifications or as agreed in the quote.

4. Damp Maintenance and Limitations
While we utilize the highest standards of materials and application methods as per specifications for damp maintenance, we cannot guarantee the prevention of moisture-related issues. The underlying structure may retain or attract moisture due to factors beyond our control, such as building design, weather conditions, or pre-existing damage. Clients are advised to address any structural or damp-related concerns prior to the commencement of painting work.

5. Project Timeline
The estimated completion date will be provided in the quote. Delays caused by unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, access issues, or client-requested changes) may adjust the timeline. We will communicate any changes promptly.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • Provide clear access to the work area, free of obstacles.

  • Ensure any necessary permits or approvals are obtained prior to work commencing.

  • Notify us of any specific requirements or concerns before the project begins.

  • It is the client's responsibility to make sure that they are available on the day of completion for the final inspection. Failure of this could result in the late payment fee as stipulated above.

7. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 24 hours before the scheduled start date. Deposits may be non-refundable if materials have been purchased or work has begun.

8. Warranty
Any warranties for parts or materials are subject to manufacturer terms on such products. We offer a 1 Year warranty on workmanship, covering peeling or flaking due to improper application. This does not cover damage caused by structural issues, moisture penetration, or normal wear and tear.

9. Liability
The Painting Crew is not liable for pre-existing damage to surfaces, structural issues, or delays caused by factors outside our control. We are insured for general liability and will address any damage directly caused by our team during the project.

10. Acceptance
By agreeing to proceed with the project, the client acknowledges and accepts these Terms and Conditions. Any modifications must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.
